No. A physician certification is an acknowledgment that you have an established doctor-patient relationship, have been examined, and have a qualifying diagnosis under Georgia law. It is not a prescription.

How long is my card good for?

Your Georgia Medical Cannabis Card is valid for five years. Physician certification is renewed annually.

$150 for the physician evaluation and telehealth visit. The State of Georgia charges $30 plus a $3.75 portal fee separately.

Do I need to prove my diagnosis?

Yes. You'll upload documentation of your qualifying diagnosis, or you can ask Dr. Shri Parimi to request records from your treating physician.

Is marijuana legal in Georgia?

No. Georgia's Medical Cannabis Patient Registry allows registered patients to legally possess medical cannabis products. Smoking remains illegal.

Can I do this entirely from my phone?

A valid Georgia driver's license or state ID is sufficient on its own only if it shows a current Georgia address. Otherwise, supply one document showing current Georgia residency with your full name and street address.
